Why Does the Wind Blow?

This film was created in-house at Hash, Inc.
in 1994 The story was written and narrated by
Martin Hash and centers around a couple of
kids who are bored at home and go outside on
an adventure to find out where the wind comes
from. All the textures in the film were hand
painted watercolors which were then scanned
and applied to the models. Both motion
capture and keyframe animation were combined
to create the motion. A children's book and
CD-ROM game were also create with this film.
