Chaotic Orbit

This was an experiment where I generated a
BVH format motion capture file to control a
single bone. The motion follows a "chaotic
orbit". This "orbit" is an example of a
"strange attractor", which is actually quite
strange as there is no attactor--only the
random orbit! I used persistent particles to
"record" the orbit.

Fantasy Factory Inc. Intro

A short intro animation for the Fantasy
Factory Inc. website modeled off a sketch by
Picasso of Don Quixote and Sancho. This was
done on a G3 Powerbook (Mac) with one of the
first Animation Master versions (I think the
2000) I had no training and was experimenting
with the program to try and teach myself.
When I say no training, I mean in 3D modeling
or animation or indeed anything but film
production. It took me for ever to do and get
working right but under the circumstances,
I'm quite proud. The text was done in an
early version of FCP. Not entirely sure why
it didn't come out super sharp, but hey... I
was muddling my way through it all as a
